GIVING much more than HEARING

GIVING much more than HEARING

Every so often, you see something that makes your heart soar.

It could be something amazing in nature —  or it could be someone who really ‘comes alive’ and does things they’ve never done before. This is one of the latter ones. Best we let the lady concerned, Helen Campbell of Knox Audiology tell the story.

Dear Paul,

I have enjoyed hearing from you and have shared your wonderful enthusiasm as more people join B1G1

What an interesting and challenging year I have experienced since joining B1G1!!!

I knew that Knox Audiology had the potential to grow but did not know how to start the process or what was going to eventuate. I just had to believe that it would happen. Early on after this decision I received your invitation to join B1G1’s regular informative and inspirational chats on line with other like-minded people.

I loved this time as it really helped me to step outside my own self made guidelines and see more potential.

Helen CampbellNext came Branding, logos and a web site. Again I had a feeling for what I wanted but how was it to come together? Our discussions helped to make it clearer.

12 months down the track and I am THRILLED to announce as of yesterday the web site has now launched- www.knoxaudiology.com.au. Enjoy having a look around- it looks gooooooood and is reflective of our business. B1G1 pages are under the About Us tab.

And by the way, the new site IS great. And do take a look at those ABOUT US pages Helen mentions. They are a superb example of how to get B1G1 giving into the very DNA of your enterprise.

And the impact of doing that has major impacts. ‘Stuff’ just opens up — ‘stuff’ that seemed closed before. Here’s Helen again...

The new centre at EKERA Boronia has been built and I have allowed myself to become multi skilled and to be absorbed in all that I do so that I am able to see everything from the perspective of , builder, architect, electrician, banker, photographer, IT computers,  journalist, web designer and then make decisions so we can work in a team with a common goal. I learnt it was ok to question areas of expertise for clarity and trust my own knowledge that even though I did not have a qualification in that area I understood so much that we could discuss plans and be clear on outcomes. A busy, busy process as there has been so much to learn every day, and at the same time, so so rewarding as I have gained many new skills.

And  then Helen continues with even more exciting plans including ANOTHER centre opening in just a few weeks plus the enhanced use of B1G1 Certificates of Appreciation linked back to giving goats in Kenya.

Whenever we hear from Helen, whether it’s via her frequent giving or simply an email exchange, we really get her enthusiasm and passion. And we can’t help thinking that when those two things get linked with B1G1 giving, wonderful things happen. Come and see, just click the Find Out How button here.
