Making a Difference - in bed!

Rion and Anissa Morgenstern obviously have a penchant for great business names. In 2010 they created a holding ‘vehicle’ called Electric Sheep and then created their first project — the brilliantly named ‘IntoBedWeGo.com’ designed to sell great beds and bed accessories — as they put it, ‘everything you need for a healthy sleep environment’.

And giving back is seriously embedded into everything they do. And that’s mostly because of travel — as Anissa puts it, “Travel, especially to places where people live with less, and yet are more content, has changed who we are as human beings; it has shaped who we are today and has given us a desire to do more and be more involved in the world as a whole.”

At this point in their lives, Anissa and Rion have chosen to do this through their business. So, when they sell a bed, they donate a bed through their giving partner World Bed.

And when they sell anything else on their site, they donate one for one with B1G1.

“Our philosophy of giving is that everyone deserves a chance for better health, whether that means a good meal, a roof over their heads, or a comfortable bed to sleep on for restorative sleep. So, those are the projects we like to support - projects that give people those opportunities,” Anissa says.
