“I first heard about it through my accountant, Ian Beech at Accountancy 4 Growth,” Steve told us.  “He’s known B1G1 Chairman Paul Dunn for many years.  I did a little research on the B1G1 website and thought it was a great idea.  The fact that relatively small donations can make such a huge impact is a fantastic concept.”

Of course, meeting deadlines is a key focus for SR Print Management and they always have their hands full.  But they easily find time to get and keep their giving going through B1G1.

“It’s really quick and so simple,” says Steve. “Our team chooses the projects each month and we try to vary it between the categories and the charities.  We prefer to aim at the projects that appear to impact the poorest.”

“We send the downloadable B1G1 Gratitude Certificates to our clients if they have used our services that month.  I’ve had clients from larger corporations saying ‘This is great, it really falls in line with our Corporate Social Responsibility programme’.  I hope it helps them select SR Print Management over other suppliers.”

flippingA sense of social responsibility is just part of day-to-day business at Steve’s competitive printing brokerage, and they’re clearly proud of what they’ve been able to accomplish.

“For every job we print for our customers,” he says, “we hope we are extending a lifeline through B1G1 by providing people with clean water, building shelters in India, showing poor farmers how to grow food properly, and encouraging others to give as well. We’re just hoping to make a big difference in a small way.”
